Fitness Assessment

So far, we've assessed static elements of the musculoskeletal and cardiovascular systems, but now we're ready to measure more dynamic data points.

During the Cenegenics fitness assessment, we evaluate muscular strength and endurance, maximum oxygen consumption and cardiac output, muscle power, proprioception and balance.

Each of the tests within our fitness battery are important as they provide an additional element of assessment that is evaluated in partnership with blood biomarkers, patient symptoms and lifestyle.

For example, while the standing balance test may feel minor, a patient with poor balance who also has an elevated PSA, reports using the bathroom multiple times per night, and has osteopenia in his hips is going to understand the significance of fracture risk, but also what markers he can focus on to improve those risks.
